The Sounds of Pass Midnight
Pass Midnight when I go out
I hear the silence began to shout
Water rushing over the rocks
Moving quickly in the creek
Leaves move in a rustling motions
The wind makes it's own commotions
Clouds move over head hiding the stars from me
There's not much that I can see
But the sounds are so very lovely
A bat swoops low to check out my presence
The silence of the night opens the thoughts
Far away I hear cars moving on the highway
Nature rest for another busy day
Everything at night seems relaxed and slow
An even, quiet, natural flow
Every breath I take seems to take stress away
Now I can rest and dream away this day.
