Cousins
The older I get the sadder I am
That I miss each and every one of them
Some are close but we never visit each other
Others have moved to other cities or further
A few of them have passed away
For each of them I will forever pray
I miss them all, the fun we had when we were young
The way we played, danced and once in a while sung
I would not trade one single day of my childhood
Thinking back on the fun we had makes me feel good
There is a reason for every event
Every single person into our lives sent
Sorrow is what we feel in our loved hearts
Earthly love is something we are luck to touch
Something that I hold tight and clutch
Heaven is where I plan to run and once again play
Just like we did so long ago, back in the day
So many cousins I have, the memories of each are awesome
God knows I love them all and wish to visit they would come.

The tears fall for each and everyone I miss
Just one more little kiss
I want to hold your hand and chat for a while
Just wishing to see your smile
My heart is sad, weeping for the ones you left behind
I know you are in heaven looking down, well and fine
Still I miss you, wish I had seen you once more
One that I did adore
Many I have lost
Part of livings cost
Each one a mark on my heart
Each one a memory I wish to share
These are the ones that I love and will always for care.
